Thanks for visiting! I’m Rachel, an accountant who loves books just as much as numbers. Much to the confusion of my co-workers, I read at my desk every day during lunch. I have a tendency to buy books without regard for where I’ll put them, which has resulted in books lining the floors of practically every room in our house. I am also a follower of Jesus Christ and am eternally grateful to have a relationship with a God who loves me more than I can imagine.
I adore baking and would happily eat just desserts for the rest of my life. The fact that I received a massive bag of chocolate chips and two jars of peanut butter for my 21st birthday shows that my friends are well aware of that as well.
My new husband, Jason (Jay), and I both love to travel and are trying to visit as many places as possible on a limited budget and while working full time jobs (if only unlimited vacation time were a realistic possibility). You’ll see a lot of trips are booked with airline and hotel points and I give him all the credit for figuring out the best credit cards to rack up points and most advantageous ways to use the points we have!
This blog is a place where I can ramble about the books I’m reading, trips we’re taking, and any other noteworthy things going on. Hope you enjoy!
