Love With Food Review – July Deluxe Size
Love with Food is a monthly snack subscription box that comes in either Tasting or Deluxe sizes. The Tasting size gives you 8-10 snacks and costs $9.99 per box ($7.99 with an annual plan). The Deluxe size gives you 16-20 snacks and costs $19.95 per box ($16.50 with an annual plan). There is also an option for a Gluten-Free box. I’ve tried Love with Food in the past, but ended up cancelling my subscription due to the cost. I usually just wait around until they send me a discount promo code : )

The July 2016 box represented the theme “Love is Adventure” and it actually did a pretty great job. There were some fun snacks with influences from different countries and a few that would be great to take on a hike!
Here’s what came in my second Deluxe box:
Pure Growth Organic Popcorn (White Cheddar and Sea Salt) – White cheddar popcorn is one of my favorite lunch snacks, so I was very happy to see this included. Plus, how cute is the Frozen packaging??
Bandar Foods Naan Chips Himalayan Pink Salt – I’ve received Naan chips in Love With Food boxes before and I absolutely love them. This brand was just as tasty. I’ll be trying to find these in the grocery store.
Pretzel Perfection Tomato Basil Pretzel Sticks – I expected a pretty boring snack, but these were packed with flavor! Definitely a winner.
Beanitos White Bean Crunch – I had no idea what to expect from these. A healthier version of Cheetos? They sure weren’t as good as the original cheese-y snack : )
Bandar Spicy Mango Chili Sauce and Masala Spiced Ketchup – I was surprised to see this type of product included as a bonus item. I tried them both with a chicken nugget and noted the mango sauce was pretty spice. Therefore, I liked the masala ketchup better.
LUNA protein Berry Greek Yogurt Bar – Protein bars aren’t normally my go-to snack, but this one tasted like a candy bar! I ate it while traveling on vacation and it kept me full for longer than expected (something not easy to achieve!)
YumEarth Sour Beans – I don’t like jelly beans, so as expected, I didn’t like these. I’m sure they’d be great for anyone else!
Mandys Rich Chocolate Cookie Thins – You can see from the packaging that these look like Ritz crackers. Well, they certainly had the same texture and just a hint of chocolate flavor. Definitely not the “rich” chocolate taste I was expecting.
TruJoy Sweets Organic Lollipops – I hate lollipops, so these were given out to friends.
Pur Mints – I keep forgetting to bring these to work, so I haven’t tried them yet. I’m sure they taste like a regular mint, though.
Sensible Foods Edamame Crunch – Same situation as above. I don’t know I’ve ever tried pumpkin seeds before, so I’m curious how these will taste.
JimmyBar! How Bout Dem Apples – I’ve previously tried the PB&J version of Jimmybar, but this was even better! It’s a small snack, but still filling. The ingredients are finely chopped which makes the texture a bit strange, but I didn’t mind it.
Ritual Energy Peanut & Chocolate Snack – This was an interesting concept – a snack that is designed to give you energy, like an energy shot/drink. To be honest, I didn’t notice a big energy boost though.
In summary, this was a fun box with an excellent variety of snacks. A few of the items were doubles though and I would have preferred to receive a different snack versus two of the same variety.
Have you tried Love with Food or any other snack subscription boxes? Which subscription box is your favorite?
I want Frozen snacks!
I knew you would say that!
