TBR Mix N’ Mingle – October 2018

The weather’s getting colder, so I’m anticipating lots of time this month to catch up on reading! It’s time for October’s TBR Mix n’ Mingle! I’m co-hosting this linkup with Literary Quicksand and Allison at My Novel Life. Remember to join us on the first Wednesday of each month and linkup your TBR posts! Here’s what I’m hoping to read in October.

October To Be Read List:

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

I’m on a serious YA streak right now and this caught my eye at the library. I remember seeing trailers for the movie a year or two ago and I’m intrigued by the story!

Coraline by Neil Gaiman

Since we turned the calendar to October, I decided to add a creepy read to my list. As embarrassing as it is to admit, the movie Coraline looked too scary to watch, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to handle the book!

It by Stephen King

Alright I might as well just go all in on this Halloween theme. It’s been a while since I read Stephen King, so it’s time for another one of his classics. We’ll see how far I get…

  1. I think you’re brave to read It! I don’t know much about Coraline, but It stands out in my mind as a book that’s way too scary for me to ever attempt (I think the old TV miniseries traumatized me as a kid).

Also, I think I sent you an invite, but I started a new Pinterest community–the communities are a new feature, so I’m still figuring them out. Anyone who loves reading is welcome to join! Here is the invite link: https://pin.it/okq5eb3726a552

I’ll post a thread for these linkups each month so we can all see and share each other’s pins.

    1. So far It is an intriguing story and isn’t too scary, but I’m only 3% through 🙂 I just accepted your community invite – this is the first I’ve even heard about it. Great idea!!
