TBR Mix N’ Mingle – January 2019
Happy First Day Back at Work! Hopefully you all had an amazing holiday season and have recovered from any New Year’s Eve festivities! Join us and share your January TBR Mix n’ Mingle list! Remember to join us on the first Wednesday of each month and linkup your TBR posts! Here’s what I’m reading to kick off the new year.
January To Be Read List:
99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
I’m scheduled to participate in a blog tour for Sally Thorne’s new novel in February, so this is a must read. I absolutely adored her prior book, The Hating Game, so I’m absolutely looking forward to this one.
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
I’m an avid fan of re-reading books since I know I’ll love the story and often get something new out of the book each time I read it. It’s been a few years since I last read Outlander, so I’m thinking it’s time to dive back in. I’m still on the fence about continuing the series, though… I struggled with the second book and ended up abandoning it because I got bored!
The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
The Pingel Sisters are hosting an online book club and this is their first selection for January. I read it ages ago, so I’m looking forward to reading it again. After the disappointment that was The Clockmaker’s Daughter, it should be fun to get back into Morton’s older works.
Don’t forget to visit a few other bloggers in the linkup!
Our next linkup will be Wednesday, February 6th!

Great TBR for this month! I reread Outlander in 2018, and I really loved The Forgotten Garden, too!
I still haven’t read Outlander and I’m not sure if I want to hop on that train… though I’m sure it’s super good. People love it!
I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of 99 Percent Mine. I also liked The Hating Game, but based on the description, I feel like I might love this one more. I’m trying to temper my expectations though, or sometimes I get disappointed, haha.
Haha I flew through the first Outlander book, but I’m not sure if recommends it to others. As for 99 Percent Mine, I wasn’t into it at all at first but now I’m completely addicted. I’ll probably finish it at lunch today 🙂
So glad you’re reading The Forgotten Garden with us! I just finished the first two parts, and I’m enjoying it so far. Hopefully I’ll finish it this weekend so I can start making the discussion questions!
I haven’t heard of any of these books, but I hope you have a lovely reading month.
