To Be Read List for September 2019
It feels like fall is arriving and I am here for it!! I always seem to talk about the weather in these intro posts, but I’m particularly excited for the high 70’s low 80’s we’re experiencing here in PA these days. Although I’m enjoying the last bit of summer, I’m already planning ahead for the next season. We’ve got a Williamsburg VA vacation coming up and we’re signed up for a pumpkin run 5K in early Nov! Before all that though, let’s get to my To Be Read List for September 2019.

To Be Read List for September 2019:
Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren
Christina Lauren, two friends who write together, are an undeniable powerhouse of the contemporary romance genre. Their stories are guaranteed to be full of wit, heat, and a fast-moving plot. In their new release coming out in October, old flames are given another chance at love.
Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft
My fantasy book for this month is a recommendation from my husband. He loved this book about a man who loses his wife during their honeymoon to the Tower of Babel. As he searches ring after ring of the tower, he encounters sights and people unlike any other. I like that this is a bit different from other fantasy books since the main character is a rather shy and unequipped headmaster rather than a classic hero.
Christmas Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
Don’t roll your eyes yet! This book is releasing in October, so I’m hoping to get it read and reviewed on NetGalley before the official release date 🙂 I’m a longtime fan of the Shopaholic series, so we’ll see what’s in store for the Christmas edition of Becky Bloomwood’s life. This made it on my list of most anticipated new releases for this fall!
Bury Your Dead by Louise Penny
Admittedly, this was on my list last month but I’m really hoping to read it in September! I don’t want to too much time to pass from one Inspector Gamache book to another. I’m already working on getting a few coworkers in on the action. I brought Still Life into work and their passing it around. Can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks of it!
