The Au Pair Affair

by Tessa Bailey

Once again, Tessa Bailey knocks a sports romance out of the park!! Two characters from FanGirl Down take center stage in this hockey romance. Tallulah, the younger nanny, and Burgess, the stoic player, are a delight together! Plus, those steamy scenes are soooo good! | 5 Stars | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target

What Have You Done

by Shari Lapena

This small town murder mystery captivated me from start to finish. A teenage girl is found murdered in a farmer’s field, setting off a riveting investigation. It seems that everyone in town has something to hide.

I read this in 24 hours! Little secrets about each of the characters kept being revealed throughout the novel, keeping me on my toes and needing to find out more! | 4.5 Stars | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target

Not Another Love Song

by Julie Soto

Not Another Love Song is set in the world of music, with a violinist female lead. It’s got the same enemies to lovers trope that leads to delightful tension between Xander and Gwen. This is one of those books I wanted to both savor and devour!! It 1000% lived up to my high expectations.

I’m normally not a huge fan of books about musicians but this delve into the world of classical music /orchestras was fascinating. It added a unique spin to the story and who knew violins and cellos could be so sexy. | 4.5 Stars | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target

My Canadian Boyfriend

by Jenny Holiday

This first showed up on my radar when I heard the male character is narrated by Joshua Jackson! I really enjoyed listening to this romance between a hockey player and ballet teacher.

Mike is a single dad struggling to manage his professional hockey schedule and his daughter’s classes. When he sees the bond between her and her ballet teacher, Aurora, he decides to take a chance and see if Aurora can help them both out.  Aurora cannot believe Mike has walked back into her life after their first meeting as teenagers. He doesn’t remember and she’s hoping it won’t be an issue that they’ve met before.

My only gripe with this was the constant use of Mike’s full name haha! I think I could have skimmed over it easily in print, but it got fairly annoying listening on audio. Otherwise it was a sweet hockey romance without too much spice! 4 Stars | Buy On Amazon | Listen on Libro.fm (Get 2 FREE Audiobooks When You Try A Membership!)

Local Woman Missing

by Mary Kubica

Mary Kubica is quickly becoming one of my new favorite thriller / mystery writers! I’m now working my way through various backlist books and Local Woman Missing was another hit!

The alternating character perspectives. The breathtaking prologue. The back and forth timelines. This book kept me HOOKED! One woman goes missing, followed by a mother and her daughter, leaving a group of neighbors in distress. In current day, the daughter has been found, but there are still tons of questions left unanswered. | 4.5 Stars | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target

Business Casual

by B.K. Borison

It was a bittersweet experience reading Business Casual since I knew it would be my last visit to Inglewild! Thankfully, it lived up to the rest of the series!

Charlie and Nova are the stars of this novel and I loved getting to know them better as they found their footing in life and discovered a home in each other. Charlie is such a lovable character and you just couldn’t help but root for them. This was the perfect ending to this series. I cannot recommend all four books enough!!  | 4 Stars | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target
