The Hitchcock Hotel by Stephanie Wrobel

The premise of this thriller sounds so intriguing! As a Hitchcock fan myself, I love that an author is putting a modern spin on the stories from this master of suspense. In this novel, Alfred Smettle has created a secluded hotel entirely themed around the world of Alfred Hitchcock. A stay at his hotel includes endless film screenings, access to props and memorabilia, plus an aviary where you’ll find dozens of crows.

The plot escalates when Alfred invites sixteen of his former best friends from his college film club to stay to celebrate the one year anniversary. There are sinister happenings at play though and this hotel isn’t necessarily just for show… | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target

Fantasy New Releases

Somewhere Beyond The Sea by T.J. Klune

I have been desperate to get my hands on this sequel to The House In The Cerulean Sea since I first heard about it. We pick up on the heels of Book 1, with Arthur and Linus living happily on their island with their children who they are about to formerly adopt.

Life is bliss, until Arthur gets a summons to answer questions about some dark things that have happened in his past. Suddenly he’s fighting for the life he’s come to love. In the midst of this, a new magical child hopes to join their group, but Arthur doesn’t know if this will be their breaking point. I can’t wait to dive into Somewhere Beyond The Sea, Arthur’s Story.  | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target

General Fiction New Releases

Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty

An ordinary flight turns extraordinary when everyone on board learns how they are going to die. In the air, a woman begins predicting when each passenger will die and it’s only when her predictions start coming true that they all take this fantastical information seriously.

From there, Liane Moriarty weaves a philosophical tale of how you would live life differently and what choices you’d make if you were given a glimpse into the future. I couldn’t put this down! The flipping back and forth between characters kept the pace moving quickly and I was fascinated by how each of these individuals dealt with the news. | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target

Among the rugged hills and golden beaches of the island, Grace searches for answers about her friend’s life, and how it ended. What she uncovers is stranger than she could have dreamed. But to dive into this impossible truth, Grace must first come to terms with her past.

Filled with wonder and wild adventure, this is a story of hope and the life-changing power of a new beginning. | Buy From Amazon | Buy From Target
