Advent Calendar Gift Guide

When most people think of advent calendars, they picture a cute Christmas scene filled with terrible chocolate pieces. I grew up on them (and honestly still love them), but the options are truly endless these days. There’s nothing like wine, tea, or socks to get you in the mood for a Christmas countdown!! While most of these are geared toward adults, I couldn’t resist sharing a few at the end that I hope to buy for my kid one day!

For Adults:

Tea Advent Calendar

Nothing goes together like a book, cup of tea, and a cozy blanket. Get one of the three with this advent calendar.

Lindt Chocolate Advent Calendar

An upgraded classic.

Socks Advent Calendar

Everyone loves socks! Perfect for the office gift exchange or the random relative you don’t know anything about.

Wine Advent Calendar

If I wasn’t pregnant I would 100% be requesting this for Christmas. Is it too early to order for next year??

Bonne Maman Advent Calendar

Enjoy your toast even more with a selection of jams and jellies from Bonne Maman. The 2017 version was an overwhelming success, so you should sign up now to be notified when 2018 is available.

Precious Moments Nativity Advent Calendar

Prize for most adorable goes to this one!

Haribo Gummy Advent Calendar

For those who don’t like chocolate (which would be shocking) or who can’t eat it, this calendar offers a sweet alternative.

For Kids:

Crayola Advent Calendar

Not necessarily just for kids 🙂

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar

This was a hit with Jay’s stepbrother, so we’re planning to snag it again this Christmas.

Hot Wheels Advent Calendar

Cute mini cars and accessories!

Funko Harry Potter Advent Calendar

I don’t exactly understand the obsession with Funko Pop figurines, but the Harry Potter lover in your life won’t be able to resist this.

I just ordered that Haribo Advent Calendar. I always grew up with them, and love them, and I am the biggest fan of Haribo ever! Thanks so much for letting me know about this!

This makes me so happy! I had tons of fun looking up all the different types – I’m sure a few will end up in my house too : )

Have you heard of the Advent Book by Jack and Kathy Stockman? It’s an Advent calendar in book form; we’ve had it since my kids were toddlers (they are now 5 & 7) and we all look forward to reading it together as a family every year. The book is beautifully made with gorgeous illustrations for each page. Each day you read another page and get to open the door to hear more of the story and see a scene from the Christmas story. By Christmas Day you’ve opened all the doors and get to read the whole story. The wording is taken from Scripture so my kids have practically all the verses memorized from our yearly reading. It is such a treasure! It sounds like I’m a paid promoter, but really we just love this book so much 🙂
