Amazon Prime Sample Box

Did anyone else know that Amazon offers sample boxes to Prime members? These collections typically cost less than $10 and feature a wide variety of themes from household to beauty to pet products. Plus, the cost of the box is applied as a credit toward any items from the box you purchase in the future! I’m such a sucker for samples, so I was thrilled to see Amazon in the mix. Target offers a beauty box once a month, but they can be hard to snag and don’t come with many products. Amazon’s boxes are also a great idea if you’re looking for a variety of travel size items to take on trips.

The first box I tried from Amazon is the Women’s Skin and Hair Care Sample Box. It cost $9.99 and I get that amount in credit towards future Beauty purchases.

Here’s a list of items included:

Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash and Lotion, Nourishing Coconut – I’m a big fan of Aveeno. It’s nice to have some familiar brands in my box.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes and Acure Organics Oil Cleansing Towelettes – I’ve never used these types of wipes before, but they should be great for traveling or after working out.

Oral B Glide Floss and Crest 3D Whitestrip

Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Shampoo and Conditioner and Le Petit Marseillais Shower Cream

Nivia Oil Infused Lotion, Aquaphor Body Spray, and Roc Anti-Aging Chest, Neck, and Face Cream

GLISS Hair Repair Shampoo and Conditioner – Love these two! I’m using my credit to purchase the regular size version.

Even though I knew exactly what I was getting, I still get quite excited opening up the box and digging through the goodies. I’ll use each and every one of these items, which is rare for a sample box. Although there’s no fancy packaging, I’d take more items over tissue paper and pretty colors every time. If you use the credit, this box is essentially free which makes it hard to pass up! I’ve got my eye on the coffee and tea sample box next 🙂

Have you ever tried an Amazon Prime sample box? What other subscription/sample boxes do you love?

  1. I just heard about these Amazon sample boxes recently and wondered if it was worth it. I do try to get the Target ones, but like you mentioned the can be hard to snag! Walmart has a seasonal one too that I really like, because like this one it’s all products I’d use. Looks like you got a lot of stuff for $10!

  2. I’ve gotten lots of Amazon boxes, and almost all of them have been great! We travel a lot, so I’m always happy to get small bath products. I also get the Walmart Beauty Box, and the one time I tried the Target box I wasn’t impressed. If I get one more little bottle of in-shower moisturizer….

Through Amazon we’ve gotten K-cups, dog treats, healthy snack bars, a dental-themed box, an awesome Aveeno box, beauty products, and a box of men’s bath products. The best part is getting the credit for a full-sized product.

  3. Very cool! I will definitely check it out. By the way, if you don’t use any of the products, your Mom would love them 🙂
